Easy No Knead Feta Bread Rolls

These little bread balls are very easy to make and very tasty. You can prepare them for breakfast or for a picnic.

You only need 5 minutes to mix the ingredients. Then you need to let the dough rest for 30 minutes, form the balls for 5 minutes and then bake for 20. It’s all so simple yet turns out extremely delicious. You will spend no more than 10 minutes on these bread balls, the oven will do the rest.

How did I find this recipe?

My mom has been making them for years and my kids love them. The last time she was with us in Canada she made them really often and we never got bored of them. Therefore, after she left I started to prepare them by myself. And it quickly became one of our family’s favorite snacks.

I’ll give you a trick to save some more time.

The dough should rest for 30 minutes, but you can speed that whole process up by placing the dough in the warming drawer of the oven for a maximum of 10 minutes.

How to make?

Easy No Knead Feta Bread Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup yogurt (6%)
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 ml oil
  • 100 g feta
  • ½ cup water
  • butter

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a medium bowl, sift the flour. Then, add the salt and baking powder, and mix.
  • Secondly, make a well and put the yogurt, eggs, oil and crumbled feta in. Stir with a wooden spoon.
  • Thirdly, add a little bit of the water and mix again. Then add the rest of the water and stir. The dough should be sticky but not too runny.
  • If you don’t have time, you can put it in the warming drawer of the oven for about 10 minutes maximum.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 F°.
  • Once the dough has risen, make small balls with the help of two spoons and place them in previously prepared trays with parchment paper.
  • Place a small piece of butter on each ball and press it down with a small spoon.
  • Bake the two pans together in a preheated 400 F° oven for about 20-25 minutes. After 15 minutes have passed, switch the places of the trays.
