This is an amazingly delicious and easy homemade ice cream. I made it for my kids and they loved it.

It was a hot summer weekend day and we were all craving something sweet that could help us cool down a little bit. I wanted to make something delicious, different and new for my kids but I also wanted it to be healthy. I had quite a few bananas at home and decided to use them.

I love this ice cream as it has less sugar and less fiber than the classic dairy ice cream you get from the store. This is definitely one for the banana lovers out there. I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as we did.

Homemade Blueberry Jam Ice Cream

In this post, I will show you how to make homemade ice cream. It is very easy and very tasty! My kids love it! The flavour depends on your preferences! Here I will show you ice cream with blueberry jam!

Homemade Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 6 frozen bananas
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • ⅓ cup whipping cream
  • caramel buttercrunch

Instructions

  • It is so simple to make.
  • Peel the bananas and chop them up. Put them in a bag and then in the freezer for at least 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • Add the sliced frozen bananas to a food processor or blender. The bananas will take some time to reach a creamy consistency, so be patient.
  • Once the bananas reach that smooth and creamy consistency, add the vanilla extract, honey and whipping cream.
  • Then blend it all together once again in the food processor.
  • Transfer the ice cream to a container of your choice and freeze it for a few hours until it is firm enough to scoop.
  • Serve it in cups of your choice and sprinkle it with caramel buttercrunch.
