Homemade pumpkin puree is sweet, fluffy and very tasty. It can be used to make many cakes, pies and muffins. There is nothing better than making your own puree.

Ingredients

  • 1 pumpkin

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 °F.
  • Slice pumpkin in four.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roast for about 60 minutes or until fork tender.
  • Once the pumpkin has cooked, peel off the skin and blend into a food processor.
  • Blend until you have nice creamy delicious, pumpkin puree.
  • Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
