Hot chocolate with hot chocolate bombs. It’s super cute and fun! You can make so many flavorful variations of it!

Put the chocolate bomb into a mug and when you pour hot milk into the mug, the chocolate melts and magically releases the marshmallows and hot chocolate power hiding inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp hot chocolate mix
  • 3 tbsp marshmallows
  • 3 cups milk
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  • Melt your chocolate (2/3 of the quantity) over bain-marie. Remove from heat and add the other 1/3 of the chocolate for tempering. Stir until melted. Fill the molds. Use the back of a spoon to shape the melted chocolate onto the molds. Pop the molds into the freezer for 5-10 minutes to set.
  • Remove the chocolate from the molds.
  • Fill the sphere. Add one tablespoon of hot cocoa powder and mini marshmallows to half of the spheres. Pick up another half sphere and melt the edge on the warm plate then put the two half spheres together to seal. In order to do so, microwave a plate for a minute, so it is just hot enough to melt the chocolate. Pick up the empty half of the chocolate bomb (one half sphere) and place it on the warm plate for a couple of seconds, just until it melts.
  • Decorate them.
  • Drizzle different coloured chocolates and decorate with sprinkles

And decorate your mug!

  • Finally, proceed to the fun part!
  • Put the bomb into a mug. Pour warm milk over the bomb and watch the magic happen!!! Stir everything up and enjoy!
