Mille-Feuille Baskets with Figs and Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 500 g puff pastry
  • 120 g Smyrna dried figs
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 400 g sour cream
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  • Cut the figs into small pieces. Roll out the puff pastry with a little flour. Cut 12 flower shapes with a cookie cutter. Put them in a metal muffin pan. Do not grease it with oil because the puff pastry is greasy enough therefore it will not stick. Stretch the cut flower shape a little so that it can reach the bottom of the baking pan.
  • Put sliced ​​figs on the bottom in the middle of the pastry. Then distribute the cream cheese evenly between the 12 pastries and finally finish with a spoonful of sour cream in each.
  • Sprinkle the edges of the flower with sesame seeds.
  • Put them in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes.
