It’s summer! The sun is shining, the days are long and hot, and what could be nicer and more relaxing than a chilled cocktail!

This is my favorite cocktail ! I love gin and tonic, they go perfectly together.

I rediscovered this drink not so long ago. When I went to the store to buy the gin, I discovered how many types and flavors of gin there are. This time I bought a strawberry flavored gin.

I have strawberries and mint in my garden so I thought of using them for this drink.

What is the correct gin to tonic ratio in this cocktail?

You can make it with a 1 to 2 ratio, but that is a little too strong for me so I made my cocktail using a 1 to 2 ½  ratio. You can make it less strong by putting more tonic or less gin. It is up to your preference. My cups are 500 mL so I put in more strawberries, lime and some of my special ice cubes.

Yes, special ice cubes!!! I love these fruit flavored ice cubes. I’ll show you how you can make them as well. They are extremely easy.

Now my ice cube ingredients

For 10 ice cubes:

  • 5 strawberries
  • ½ lime
  • water

Cut the strawberries into 4 slices.

Cut the lime into thin slices and after that cut each slice into quarters.

Put 2 pieces of strawberries and 2 quarters of lime into each individual ice cube mold.

Fill with water and put it in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours.

Make the cocktail

Fill the glass with ice, then add 100 mL of gin.

Top with the tonic (250 mL).

Garnish with strawberries, slices of lime and mint leaves.

I’ve been browsing on-line greater than 3 hours lately,
yet I never discovered any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty value sufficient for me. In my opinion, if
all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more helpful than ever
      before.

      1. Thank you!
