Tiramisu and Hazelnut Truffles

Today’s recipe is very delicious. It’s perfect for people who like tiramisu. I made beautiful truffles with coffee, cream cheese, ladyfingers, hazelnuts and chocolate.

They are soft and crispy. In the centre, I put the roasted hazelnut which is covered with chocolate. It’s so amazing because inside the truffles/candy you’ll have the crunchiness of the chocolate and hazelnuts. The aftertaste that you’ll have is the one of tiramisu and that is the magic of it.

I made them so easily and quickly. With those truffles you can surprise your friends or your colleagues and you will be a star chef, I guarantee you. Try them and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 75 g chocolate ( 50 % cocoa )
  • 30 g hazelnuts, roasted
  • 250 g  cream cheese
  • 1 shot espresso (60 ml)
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 150 g lady fingers
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp cocoa

How to make it

  • Temperate your chocolate.
  • Dip the hazelnuts in the tempered chocolate and leave them on parchment paper. Once you have finished with all the hazelnuts, leave them in the fridge for a while.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, espresso coffee and powdered sugar. Beat the mixture with a hand mixer. Add the vanilla extract and mix again.
  • Put the lady fingers in a blender and shred them into little crumbs. Pour them in the mixture with Philadelphia cream and mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for about 30 min.
  • Make a ball out of the dough, put a chocolate hazelnut inside and roll the ball in the cocoa powder.
  • I made 30 truffles. Store them in the refrigerator.
